umdasch The Store Makers has been recognised by the independent and renowned sustainability rating platform EcoVadis for its sustainability performance. This recognition underlines The Store Makers' commitment to social responsibility, environmental protection and ethical business conduct.
EcoVadis, the world's largest provider of sustainable business assessment services, awarded umdasch a total of 60 points following an in-depth evaluation – meaning that The Store Makers have been awarded the bronze seal. Around 35 indicators were assessed in the areas of environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
umdasch excelled particularly in the areas of labour and human rights and the environment, and was rated particularly highly for its performance as an internationally attractive employer. umdasch The Store Makers is thus among the top 35% of all companies participating in EcoVadis worldwide.

UN Global Compact membership
To further strengthen its commitment to transparency and sustainability, umdasch The Store Makers has also decided to join the UN Global Compact. By joining the world's largest voluntary initiative for corporate sustainability, umdasch is committed to promoting the ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
