From supplier to provider: umdasch The Store Makers realise shopfitting for Fressnapf store in Graz
With its new concept, the new Fressnapf store in Graz (AT) is setting new standards in the pet supplies sector. umdasch The Store Makers was commissioned to realise shopfitting for this innovative store.
With its new shopfitting concept, Europe's number one in pet supplies, Fressnapf, is developing from a supplier to a care provider for our animal friends. Fressnapf has already been rolling out the concept to various shops in five countries, including Austria, for over a year. One of the pilot stores was the new store in Graz-Webling. Covering an area of around 1,000 square metres, it is not only the first port of call for a wide range of pet food and toys, but also offers everything to keep dogs, cats, goldfish and other pets happy. The Store Makers from umdasch were able to support the implementation of the new concept as shopfitting partners.
Bright, modern and clear
The new Fressnapf store combines simple design with dark elements in an industrial style. The clear design with labelling on the third level - the area between the shelves and the ceiling - makes it easier to find your way around the store, which is further facilitated by wide aisles and deliberately low shelves at the front of the store.
The Store Makers from umdasch are responsible for the realisation of various shelf areas in this project - from production to installation on site.
Market flair for four-legged friends
The meat corner in the entrance area, also produced by the shopfitting experts from umdasch The Store Makers, conveys freshness and sustainability, as well as the impression of buying dog snacks directly from a market stall. The custom-made furniture in anthracite grey presents wooden crates filled with a variety of snacks for four-legged friends. Consumers can pick and pack the desired quantity themselves.
Service point for exchange
The new service advice module in the Fressnapf store in Graz was also produced by umdasch The Store Makers. Consumers can talk to staff about their four-legged friends and get animal tips at a large wooden table with a structure reminiscent of a house. Alongside the service area, the so-called "Garden World" is used to present birdhouses and outdoor items. This is framed by decorative birch trunks, which further emphasise the natural and relaxing atmosphere of the store.
