Interactive Hits in the Weltmuseum
One of the latest projects of the Umdasch Foundation is its support for the Weltmuseum in Vienna, the federal capital of Austria. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the umdasch Group, an interactive exhibition was created in the form of two pavilions. One pavilion is dedicated to industrial developments through the history of the umdasch Group and its two business areas shopfitting and formwork technology. In the second pavilion, a globe describes future visions for the world economy. The concept itself was created by the designer Stefan Umdasch, son of the owner Alfred Umdasch. The displays were realised using analogue and digital solutions by the Store Makers of umdasch. They include an array of the latest Digital Retail trends. Visitors can experience via a transparent screen, the transformation of the retail sector at close quarters. A hologram of an employee talks about the building of the future and a touch screen invites visitors to the construction of Burj Khalifa in Dubai, whilst projections enable guests to immerse themselves in the trends of the future. Visitors will find many more displays that will create enthusiasm in this interactive and varied exhibition!
